Sozvezdie starts developing equipment for 5G networks

MOSCOW, Jul 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Concern Sozvezdie, a unit of state industrial corporation Rostec’s Ruselectronics, has started developing equipment for 5G, the concern’s General Director Alexei Bocharov said on Thursday.

“We have competitive solutions for 4G LTE and are developing solutions for 5G. I’m speaking about local solutions that will be up to international standards 3GPP and will be compatible to solutions of other vendors. The concern does not only plan to manufacture advanced equipment for mobile connection operators but also intends to provide technical support at all lifecycle stages, including upgrade,” Bocharov said.

For the civil market, Sozvezdie will shortly offer comprehensive solutions with machine vision and artificial intelligence.

“These solutions will aim at transport security and safety of civil and industrial facilities,” Bocharov said.
